Field Trip: Cultural Los Angeles, 10/16

Downtown-Los-Angeles

As an experiential highlight to the 11th grade curricular unit Voice to the Voiceless: Countering Social, Political, and Environmental Marginalization of the Underrepresented, Humanitas Juniors will visit a variety of historic and cultural landmarks throughout Downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 16. Students will meet at the school flagpole at 8 a.m. and board the field trip buses to Chinatown, Olvera Street, and Little Tokyo. Students may bring or buy their own lunch for the day. The walking tour reflection assignment can be accessed here. Special thanks to our teacher team, Ms. Dondero (U.S. History), Mrs. Madraswala (Chemistry), and Ms. Pomeroy (American Literature) for organizing this special opportunity.
