Operation Woodchip v5.0 (11/18)

tree-plantingHumanitas students are invited to participate in ECR’s 5th-annual “Operation Woodchip” community service event at El Camino on Saturday, 11/18 from 9AM to noon. Together, we’ll be distributing a few tons of woodchips to the planters throughout campus to assist with beautification and water retention efforts. Our day starts at 9 a.m. and should last a few hours. This event may be counted towards the Humanitas fall semester community service requirement. Interested students may sign up with Mr. Sodek in C17. Registered students attending the event must wear sturdy shoes (no sandals, or flip-flops). Work gloves or gardening gloves, a water bottle, and weather-appropriate layers of clothing are recommended. Food will be provided by ECR PTSA.
