This spring, the Humanitas Academy has once again delivered on its commitment to extending learning (and fun!) beyond the classroom. Humanitas ninth graders experienced a powerful and thought-provoking day at the Museum of Tolerance. Tenth grade roamed the halls of the Natural History Museum, examining fossil evidence and vast collections of animal diversity. Eleventh grade students explored the California Science Center, contemplating heat-resistant spacecraft materials and our potential colonization of Mars. Humanitas Seniors concluded their year just right, with an eventful day at the Santa Barbara Zoo and a celebratory picnic at the beach.
Special thanks to the Humanitas teachers, students, parent chaperones, and ECR staff that make all of these events possible.
